Oakville house fire

A fire in a residential neighbourhood in Oakville has caused over $700 000 in damage.

Crews were called to a large home on Raspberrry Bush Trail around 12:30 this morning. Officials say the fire started on the back deck and quickly spread to the rest of the house. Crews remained on scene overnight to deal with hotspots.

No injuries have been reported, and no word yet on the cause of the fire.
