Hamilton Subway restaurant robbery

Hamilton Police are looking for a suspect after a Subway in Hamilton was robbed.

The robbery took place July 14th just before 9:00am, at the Subway restaurant located at 101 Queenston Road.

Witnesses say a male suspect entered the restaurant while displaying a weapon believed to be a handgun at an employee. The suspect took hold and escorted the employee to a cash register where he made demands for cash.

The suspect stole a small amount of cash and fled the store and last seen running eastbound on Queenston Road.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Hamilton Police are looking for a black male, 5’8″, thin build, early 20’s, freckles under his eyes, blue hoody, black baseball cap, white dust mask, white undershirt (visible under hoody), blue jeans, grey and white athletic shoes.
