Ship rescue

For hours yesterday evening commuters on the QEW witnessed what appeared to be a dramatic rescue in Lake Ontario off Beach Boulevard.  A ship was stranded.  Its crew sat huddled in two lifeboats.  And then a Canadian Forces helicopter arrived and hovered feet above the ship.  The process repeated throughout the evening and it was all part of a Canadian Forces training exercise.
