Burlington youth arrested – drugs and weapons seized

On April 20th, the Halton Regional Police finished a drug trafficking investigation that resulted in a 16-year-old male being arrested after a search warrant was executed at a Burlington residence.

Seized were:
· 75 grams of cocaine
· 44 grams of psilocybin
· 2 grams of marihuana
· 38 various pharmaceutical pills (Controlled Substances under Schedule III & IV of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act)
· Flick knife
· 2 BB guns
The drugs have an estimated street value of $ 8,160.00

The youth who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act was arrested and charged with possession and trafficking of a control substance, as well as possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of probation.
