Caledonia fire

Fire fighters had their hands full battling a blaze in Caledonia this afternoon. Several crews were called in to deal with the quickly spreading flames.

Viewers tell us the fire started in a car on Mines road, just outside the town. There were people inside at the time but they were pulled out and taken to hospital in an ambulance.

The fire then set off a grass fire which spread quickly. It took crews a couple of hours to get it under control.
