Brantford man arrested for weapon charges

On Thursday, April 7, at around 6 pm, Community Patrol Officer were contacted to attend an address on Park Avenue in regards to a man that had been yelling on the sidewalk and was holding what was described as a 10-12 inch bayonet.

Community Patrol Officers attended the address and located the man within his residence.

He was co-operative with police and was subsequently arrested without incident.

The bayonet was observed in the residence and seized for evidence.

A 28 year old Brantford man was charged with Possession of a Weapon.

He was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.
