Hamilton house sells for $101 000 over asking price

A home on Hamilton’s west mountain has sold for $101 000 over the asking price.  Nearly 60 offers were made on the house, with the winning bid coming in during Tuesday night’s snow storm.   It was listed for $280 000, and sold for just under $381 000.  The head of the Realtors Association of Hamilton-Burlington says because of a shortage of listings, it’s not unusual in the current market for Hamilton homes to draw multiple offers and sell over the asking price.
