Ancaster man arrested in relation to pharmacy robberies

Police  have arrested and charged an Ancaster man in connection to a string of pharmacy robberies.

The Hamilton police BEAR unit searched a home in Hamilton on February 1st and found evidence that links 26-year old Andrew Kayo to the robberies that happened on December 6 at the Rexall Pharmacy at Upper Ottawa, December 28 that happened at the Rexall Pharmacy on Upper Paradise, and the January 11 robbery of the same Rexall Pharmacy on Upper Ottawa.

No on was hurt during any of the robberies where the thieves took off with drugs.

Kayo has been charged with three counts of robbery, six count of possesion with the purpose of trafficking and three counts of disguise with intent.

Police are still looking for the other individuals involved.
