High risk takedown on the QEW

A high risk takedown shut down traffic on a stretch of the QEW today.

The OPP stopped a car in the east bound lanes of the highway east of Appleby line after the driver of a purple Camaro was seen waving a gun at another vehicle on the QEW in Grimsby after cutting off another driver.

Burlington OPP caught up with the vehicle and followed it to Burloak drive where the high risk take down happened.

The lanes were shut down for around 20 minute
