Hamilton man arrested for sexual assault

Two female victims were approached by a male in the area of Main Street East and Holton Avenue South in the City of Hamilton, 3am Friday.

The unknown male tried to have a conversation with the female victims.  They ran and was chased by the man where he assaulted, choked and sexually assaulted the victims.

The man received injuries as a result of the victims defending themselves against the attack and he fled the scene.

The Hamilton Police Service Sexual Assault unit and has arrested and charged the man.

Charged is Chad Leonard Scally, 33 years old from Hamilton.  He is charged with 2 counts of sexual assault, assault and one count of choking.

Hamilton Police are continuing to investigate and believe that there could be more victims.
