Fatal crash on Hwy 405 near the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge

Update:  OPP say the passenger has also died as a result of the collision on Highway 405. The victims have been identified as 73-year-old Alan Ashton and 74-year-old Gilbert Dunk both from Burlington.

The driver of a single vehicle crash on highway 405 near the Queenston- Lewiston bridge has died. The passenger was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Access to the US remains open through the commercial vehicle lanes.
