Toronto police have arrested a Hamilton man in connection with a sexual assault investigation at Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School.

Police say between February 2013 and September 2014 a teacher sexually exploited a then 16-year-old student.

On Friday, 42-year-old Andrew Lee of Hamilton was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation.

Lee has been employed with the Toronto Catholic District school board as a teacher since 2007.
