Ticats’ Simoni Lawrence has been slapped with the CFL’s maximum fine

The Canadian Football League (CFL) has handed Simoni Lawrence a max fine for his illegal hit on quarterback Logan Kilgore.

In accordance with league policy, the amount of the player fine was not disclosed.

Simoni Lawrence has been disciplined twice by the CFL this season. He was suspended earlier for direct contact to the head on Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Zach Collaros.
