Six-year-old boy struck by pickup truck in Dunnville

Ontario Provincial Police is investigating after a six-year-old boy was hit by a pickup truck in Dunnville.

Police say it happened around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Investigators say the truck was reversing when it hit the child.

The boy was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
