Woman in custody after stabbing in Hamilton

A woman is in custody after an alleged stabbing in Hamilton overnight.

Police say a man was found with stab wounds around 1:30 a.m. on August 28.

The 27-year-old was found at a student apartment on Rebecca St. near James st. North.

The man was transported to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

A woman was arrested at the scene and no further details have been released.
