The crime took place on Saturday, August 17, when a woman was struck by a vehicle.

The 33-year-old woman was fighting for her life but has since past away.

Police are still searching for a dark-coloured 2010 to 2020 Dodge Ram pickup truck. Investigators found a piece of the side mirror on the road that forensically matched.

Police are asking everyone in the Niagara Region to be on high alert for this vehicle.
