Yoga teacher charged with sexual assault in Oshawa

Durham Regional Police has charged a yoga teacher with sexual assault after two alleged incidents involving clients.

It’s alleged the incidents happened while the instructor was working at a GoodLife Fitness in the Oshawa Centre mall between May and June.

A 36-year-old Whitby man is charged with two counts of sexual assault.

Police believe the man has likely worked in other local yoga studios as well.

Investigators want to ensure there are no other victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
