Hamilton Tiger Cats getting crushing news just hours after a big win against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Late in the first quarter, starting quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, who finished second in the most outstanding player voting last season, went down awkwardly while scrambling.

The Ticats released a statement that Masoli suffered a torn ACL in his left knee and will miss the remainder of the season.
