Federal parolee wanted by Hamilton police for armed robbery

A federal parolee is wanted by Hamilton police after a local convenience store was robbed at gunpoint.

Billy Shea, 27, is wanted on a Canada-wide-warrant in connection with an armed robbery at the Royal Variety store at 418 Whitney Ave. on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Shea is considered armed and dangerous. He is wanted for robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent and unlawfully at large.

Anyone who sees him is being told not to approach him, but call 911 instead.
