Halton police arrest 58-year-old man for child luring

A 58-year-old man has been taken into custody following an investigation by Halton Regional Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
Ralph Capitelli, of Mississauga, was arrested on Tuesday and is charged with luring, invitation to sexual touching and making sexually explicit material available to a child.
Police allege Capitelli used a number of social media applications, and several user names including “Youngr”, “jaybird140”, “J” and “RJ”. They say he has also used the surname “Capitello” in the past.
Capitelli has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
