Shots fired into Hamilton Mountain bar early Monday

Hamilton police are appealing for witnesses after an early morning shooting at a mountain bar.
Police received reports of gunshots at Al-Omara Bar on Concession St. shortly after 12:30 a.m. Monday.
Investigators say shots were fired into the bar from the street. Video from the scene shows multiple bullet holes in the second-floor window of the bar.
Police say roughly 15 to 20 people were in the bar at the time of the shooting but no one was injured.
“There is no suspect information or motive established at this time,” said Hamilton police in a news release.

Officers will be canvassing in the area Monday for surveillance footage and possible witnesses.
This is the city’s 23rd shooting incident so far in 2019.
