Hamilton police are investigating after shots were fired into a local Tim Hortons over the weekend.

Officers were called to an “altercation” at the Tim Hortons near Caroline and King streets on Sunday.

Police say a male went to the restaurant and got into a fight with a number of people in the parking lot. Someone pulled out a gun and fired shots into the building’s glass doors.

The suspects fled and were last seen walking past the Staybridge Suites.

No one was injured in the shooting.

Hamilton police say they will be releasing suspect descriptions once investigators have reviewed video surveillance.
