Fentanyl, cocaine seized in drug trafficking investigation: Niagara police

A 32-year-old man is facing charges following a drug trafficking investigation in St. Catharines.
Back in February, police began looking into the alleged sale of fentanyl and cocaine in the downtown core.
On May 2, police arrested Hunter Yzerman, of St. Catharines. Investigators say they seized roughly $2,700 worth of fentanyl, over $3,100 worth of cocaine and more than $2,900 in “proceeds of property obtained by crime.”
Yzerman was charged two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and one count each of possessions of proceeds obtained by crime and breach of probation.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
