Two men in hospital following stabbing on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton police will be out canvassing in a mountain neighbourhood Thursday morning after a stabbing sent two men to hospital.

Police were called to a home in the area of Upper Wentworth St. and MacLennan Ave. shortly after 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Three males were found with “various levels of injuries” inside the home. Two of the victims were transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.

Police say they are still gathering information and will be out canvassing in the area looking for witnesses and video evidence.
