Student followed by man near Hamilton school: police

Hamilton police are issuing a warning after an elementary school student said she was followed by a man on two separate occasions.
Police say the 11-year-old girl was walking home alone from Billy Green Elementary School on April 8 when she noticed a man following her. The girl became scared and ran home but did not tell anyone about the incident.
One week later, the girl was walking her usual route to school on Athenia Dr. when she noticed the same man following her again. The girl ran to her school safely and notified staff.
Police say the man did not contact or speak with the student.
He is described as six-feet tall, between 40 and 50 years old, with light brown skin, a mustache, and poofy light brown hair. The man was wearing a black coat, black shoes and grey and white jogging pants.
No other incidents have been reported however police are urging students to walk in pairs.
