One person injured after being struck by GO train in Hamilton

Hamilton police are investigating after a person was struck by a GO Transit train early Tuesday morning.
Police received a call at 7:05 a.m. about a collision on the tracks near Hunt St. and Breadalbane St. in the city’s west end.
Metrolinx officials say someone was struck by a GO train on the Lakeshore West Line but is expected to survive.
Hamilton police are on scene and say they do not know the severity of the person’s injuries.
