The school was evacuated instead of locked down because it was a bomb threat.
This incident comes just one day after the high school was placed on lock down for several hours after two threatening phone calls came into the building around 8 a.m. Monday.
Police say the calls were made by an unknown male who threatened to bring a weapon to school and harm staff and students. Today it was a bomb threat and it was called in from the same number.
“Same type of voice, appears to be coming from same number, that’s the preliminary info we’ve received.” Supt. Will Mason, Hamilton police.
