19-year-old man arrested after transport truck stolen

Niagara police say a 19-year-old man is facing several charges after a transport truck was stolen in Fort Erie.

Police say the truck was taken from a trucking lot in the area of Bowen Rd. and Thompson Rd. on Sunday.

Uniformed patrol officers later found the truck in Niagara-on-the-Lake with a man inside.

Brandon Draper, of Fort Erie, has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, disobey court order and fail to comply probation order.

He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in the City of St. Catharines.
