Mothers busier than fathers

Working mothers spend about ten extra hours a week multi-tasking than working fathers.

Researchers studied 500 upper-middle class families.

Their research revealed half of women’s multi-tasking activities involve cleaning or childcare, compared to 40% of men’s.

Women were more likely to report feeling stressed when trying to multi-task at home, while men seem to enjoy it.
