Two overnight shootings in Brampton are connected

It was a violent morning in Peel Region. Two people are dead and a woman is fighting for her life following two separate shootings in Brampton.
Peel Police say the shootings happened overnight. The first just before 1 a.m. in the area of Vodden Avenue, west of Kennedy Road.
A man and woman, both in their twenties, were rushed to hospital where the man was later pronounced dead. The woman remains in life threatening condition.
Police say a white man wearing dark clothing and driving a dark coloured Ford F-150 was seen leaving the area at the time of the shooting.
In the second incident, a Georgetown man was shot and killed in the area of Sunforest Drive near Townsley Crescent. This shooting happened around 6:30 this morning.
Police believe the shooter took off driving a dark coloured vehicle and say the two incidents are connected.
