Halton police search for thieves in armed robbery

Halton police are searching for two thieves after an armed robbery at a bank in Campbellville.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Monday, police say two men armed with handguns walked into the Scotiabank branch on Main Street and demanded cash from the employees.
The thieves left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and were last seen leaving the area in a small black vehicle. Officers say no one was injured during the incident.
Police describe the men as black, between 20 and 25, with thin builds. One suspect was wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants and sunglasses while the other man had short black hair and was wearing a light coloured button-up shirt with long sleeves, dark pants, a baseball cap and sunglasses.
