Pedestrian injured after being hit by cargo train in Brantford

Brantford Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a cargo train on Thursday afternoon.

Police say the person was hit while walking in the area of Clarence St. and Colborne St.

The train was reversing towards Colborne St.

The pedestrian was taken to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries.

Clarence St. was closed for several hours for the investigation.
