Delvin Breaux rejoins the Hamilton Ticats

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive backs are a young and lack CFL experience. The Calgary Stampeders took advantage of that lack of seasoning in the secondary in the early going of the Ticats loss on Saturday, but give them credit, as the game continued their play improved. Today, the Ticats added a blast from the past to strengthen the group.
According to 3DownNation and CHCH sportscaster Justin Dunk, former CFL all-star Delvin Breaux is once again a member of the Tiger-Cats. The 28-year old wore black & gold through the 2013 and 2014 seasons before jumping to the New Orleans Saints. Breaux spent three seasons with the Saints, but played only 22 games due to a pair of broken fibula injuries and a shoulder issue. According to sources, the free agent inked a 1-year contract that will play him just under $200,000, making him highest paid defensive back in the CFL.
