Baby shampoo chemicals
An environmental campaign is sounding the alarm over chemicals in baby shampoo.
The “campaign for safe cosmetics” says Johnson’s Baby Shampoo contains two chemicals, one of which is formaldehyde, which could pose a danger to health.
The group is asking for a boycott of the product.
The chemicals are present in the shampoo sold in the U.S. and Canada, but are not found in the formula sold in many other countries.
Johnson & Johnson says it is gradually phasing out the chemicals.
