Hamilton Police investigating car fire

Hamilton Police investigating an alleged arson overnight.

Police and fire were called to Gibson Avenue shortly after 1:30 Sunday morning.

When they arrived, a car was in flames, and a second car subsequently caught fire.

Police say witnesses told them they saw three men running away from the scene at the time the fire was set.

Investigations say there is no indication the family was targeted.

There were no injuries.

Hamilton Police have taken over the investigation.
