Police arrest man wanted in Burlington bank robberies

Update: Members of the Halton police ROPE squad (Repeat Offenders Parole Enforcement) arrested Adam Patrick Delise at the Appleby Go-station on April 10th around 9:00 a.m. Delisa was found in possession of a robbery note and cash.
Halton Regional Police have identified a man wanted in two bank robberies in Burlington on Monday.
Police say the TD Canada Trust branch at 596 Plains Rd. E was robbed on Monday around 8:30 a.m.
Around 2 p.m., the Royal Bank branch just a few kilometres away at 15 Plans Rd. E, was also robbed.
Police say in both cases, a man approached a teller and handed over a note saying he armed with a gun and demanding money.
He fled on foot after getting the cash.
Adam Patrick Delise, 36, of no fixed address, is wanted for two counts of robbery.
Anyone who sees Delise or has information about is whereabouts is asked to call the Burlington Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4747 ext. 2316.
