Stolen truck smashes into Dundas variety store, driver flees

Hamilton police are looking for the driver of a stolen vehicle that smashed into a Dundas convenience store early Tuesday.
Police were called to the Governor’s Variety at 10 Governors Rd. around 2:30 a.m.
The truck appeared to have reversed into the entrance of the business causing extensive damage.
The owner of the variety store said this is the second time a vehicle has crashed into the building this year. He believes the driver of the truck was attempting to take off with the ATM.

Police say no one was injured in the collision. Investigators believe the truck was stolen from somewhere on Hamilton Mountain.
Anyone with information that could help in the investigation is asked to contact Hamilton police.
