Police seize illegal weapons and drugs from home near London

A 43-year-old man is facing multiple charges after police seized several illegal weapons and illicit drugs from a home in London, Ont.

Members of the Chippewas of The Thames First Nation Police Service, Ontario Provincial Police and Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a property on Melbourne Rd. on Tuesday.

Officers found several weapons including a gun and a large quantity of drugs.

A London man is facing 15 charges including public mischief and four counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.

He is scheduled to appear in a London court on Wednesday.
