Roast beef recalled over possible Listeria contamination

Erie Meat Products Ltd. is recalling Druxy’s Fresh Deli Revolution brand Seasoned Cooked Roast Beef due to possible Listeria contamination.
The affected product is served without a label or coding at Druxy’s Famous Deli restaurants in Ontario.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says consumers who are unsure if they have consumed or purchased the product are advised to contact the restaurant.
The agency says there have been reported illness that may be linked to the consumption of the product. Further lab testing in currently underway.
The CFIA is conduction a food safety investigation and says more products may be recalled.
Consumers are being advised to throw out the product or return it to the store where it was purchased. The roast beef has a best before date of April 9.
Food contaminated with Listeria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.
