Lottery ticket worth $23 million sold in Hamilton area

Someone in Hamilton may be taking the day off today after a lottery ticket worth $23 million was sold in the region.

OLG says the winning ticket for the Saturday, January 27, 2018 LOTTO 6/49 jackpot of $23,324,912.20 was purchased in the area.

Two other big-winning tickets were sold in Ontario. The ‘Guaranteed $1 Million Prize’ was won by a ticket sold in Toronto and an ENCORE ticket, worth $100,000, was sold in Ottawa.

The next LOTTO 6/49 draw is on January 31 for an estimated $5 million jackpot plus the Guaranteed $1 Million Prize draw.
