The Hamilton Tiger-Cats traded Quarterback Zach Collaros in exchange for a 2nd round pick in the 2018 draft. The decision has stunned some fans and the move could pave the way for the Ticats to sign disgraced former NFL star Johnny Manziel.

George Ketsetzis has had the pleasure of knowing Zach Collaros for the last three years. Sharing the same heritage, the Quarterback would often attend Greek Fest. An event Ketzetzis helps organize.

The 29 year old is off to Regina to play for the Roughriders.

Fans are now wondering what’s next for the Ticats? Last week the CFL Commissioner approved a contract agreement between the team and former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel if they strike a deal.

He may have been the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy but Hamiltonians are not impressed with his character off the field.

If Manziel doesn’t receive an offer from Hamilton by January 7th he’ll become a free agent.

In a statement from the CFL, The Commissioner has said Manziel must continue to meet a number of confidential conditions to remain eligible. But now all eyes will be on the Ticats as they make their next move.
