A huge fire at a former chicken barn in Niagara-on-the-Lake has caused major damage.
The fire was reported on 1238 Townline Rd. E, near Highway 56, around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials tell CHCH News the fire broke through the roof of one building and spread through the attic to other connected buildings.
There were around 60 firefighters, five pumpers, tankers and two aerial ladders at the scene.
Most of the complex is a total loss. Damage is expected to be in the millions, as some of the structures were used to store cars and boats for the winter.
