More issues with Canada’s COVID-19 vaccine shipments

More than a million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered across Canada, but this milestone comes amid news of another shipment shortfall.

Moderna is blaming production problems for a 20 per cent cut to this week’s shipment of its COVID-19 vaccine to Canada.

This news came hours after Procurement Minister Anita Anand said she was confident Canada’s vaccine deliveries will only get better going forward.

The Trudeau government maintains it can still deliver on its promise that every Canadian who wants to be vaccinated can get the shots by the end of September.
