GoFundMe for family of boy killed in Beamsville surpasses its $25K goal

A GoFundMe account has been setup for the family of the young boy who in Beamsville this week.

Adam Komar, 4, died on Tuesday after he was hit by a truck while tobogganing that afternoon.

“Adam was a kind, inquisitive, and gentle child who cared so much about everyone around him,” says the GoFundMe page, which was setup by friends of the family.

The fundraiser had a goal of $25,000. By Thursday afternoon, nearly $50,000 had been raised.

The money will be used to help the family with any financial needs or unexpected costs they may have.

The rest will be donated back to the community in Adam’s name.
