Painkillers and miscarriage

A study out of Quebec has found a link between certain medications and miscarriages.

Researchers find the risk of miscarriage is almost two and a half times greater for women who take certain anti-inflammatory drugs.

The class of drugs is used to relieve pain and includes Ibuprofen.

The study’s co-author says the majority of cases was in women who didn’t plan their pregnancies.
