HAPPENING NOW:

Stem cell triggers

Researchers at McMaster University have given us one more reason to hit the gym.

Their study finds working out triggers important stem cells that become bone instead of fat.

This can improve your health by boosting the body’s ability to make blood.

Benefits also include a better immune system, and the ability to clot wounds.

When cells turn to fat instead, they become less productive and could lead to conditions like anemia.
