Hamilton man arrested in Oakville vehicle break-ins in November

Halton police have arrested and charged a Hamilton man in connection to a string of vehicle break-ins in Oakville.

The incidents date back to November, where several Oakville residents had their vehicles broken into and had items stolen.

In one instance, a home was broken into and two vehicles were stolen from the driveway. The vehicles were later recovered in Stoney Creek and Ancaster.

On Tuesday, police arrested Nathan Carney, 19, of Hamilton.

He’s been charged with nine counts of theft Under $5,000, break and enter, two counts of motor vehicle theft and failure to comply with probation.
