Safe injection sites
A health-care coalition is calling for safe injections sites from coast-to-coast in a effort to stop the spread of hepatitis b and c.
The Canadian Coalition of Organizations responding to hepatitis b and c wants a more aggressive stance after issuing a report suggesting Canada’s performance is wanting.
It found resources are poor in PEI, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories and that prison inmates are especially vulnerable.
