U.K. investigates possible allergic reactions to COVID-19 shot

U.K. regulators say people who have a “significant history” of allergic reactions shouldn’t receive the new Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine right now.

This as health authorities investigate possible allergic reactions that occurred on the first day of the Britain’s mass vaccination program.

Two health care workers who received the shot on Tuesday suffered adverse reactions to the shot. They are said to be recovering well.
