RIM announces social event
Research in Motion says it’s holding a social media event Tuesday night to promote its new Blackberrys.
This comes a day after RIM said it would cut 2,000 jobs to reduce costs in a competitive smartphone and tablet market.
The Waterloo-based company teased Twitter followers with an invitation to what it’s dubbed “B-B-7-Fan Night.”
The company says it’ll give fans some details on the Blackberry devices, which use its new operating system, Blackberry 7.
